Volunteer at Markham
Learn how to propagate plants by volunteering in the nursery at the Markham Nature
Park and Arboretum. Workdays are every Tuesday morning from 9am -
University of California Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners demonstrate how to grow plants from seed and cuttings. A wide variety of vegetables, perennials, shrubs and trees are grown to raise money for the Markham Regional Arboretum Society, a citizen group charged with developing the park.
Plants are also grown for the International Garden and special educational exhibits.
At Markham, there are many jobs for volunteers. Volunteers of all ages and talents are needed. We have a flexible schedule and can find the perfect spot for you.
