The Markham Regional Arboretum Society always welcomes new volunteers.
Volunteering for the Society is fun and deeply satisfying. No prior experience is required, and we provide the necessary training. Tim Rivas coordinates the volunteer gardeners.
Check out the volunteer opportunities below, then contact us if you want to help.
- Ongoing efforts by International Garden Caretakers.
- Special projects: Construct and / or repair our critical infrastructure, such as our greenhouses, irrigation, nursery beds, and more.
- Community/Organization Work Days: Many of Concord’s community service organizations and companies devote a day to help maintain our gardens. Check with any groups you may be a member of to see if this is an option for you!
- Serve on the board: Add your valuable skills to the decision-making body, including planning, finance, management, and organization.
